Farm-Fresh Salsa

The Farm Kings' mom, Lisa, shares easy recipes for making a few of her fresh farm-to-table favorites, including this salsa, which can be frozen.

Yield: 4 servings


  • 4 large tomatoes
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 green peppers
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin (optional)
  • 1 jalapeño (optional)


Grind garlic, onions and cilantro in a food processor. Set aside. Grind peppers. Set aside. Grind tomatoes. Mix ingredients well. Add salt (and optional cumin or jalapeño).

Lisa says, "Salsa can be frozen so you can enjoy it all winter long."

Cook's Notes: Lisa likes it chunky and by processing all the ingredients together you can control how chunky or smooth it is.
