Grilled Flank Steak with Parsley Sauce

Country music group Little Big Town's Kimberly Schlapman shares her recipe for flank steak cooked on the grill and servied with a fresh parsley, garlic and red wine vinaigrette.

Cook time: 14 minutes | Yield: 4 servings


  • 1 pound flank steak
  • Olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar


Preheat grill pan to medium-high heat. Season the steak with olive oil, salt and pepper. Place on grill and cook for 7 minutes on each side.

Meanwhile, whisk the remaining ingredients in a bowl and season with salt and pepper.

Remove steak from grill and let rest for 10 minutes. Slice against the grain and serve with parsley sauce.
