Homemade Potato Chips
Country music group Little Big Town's Kimberly Schlapman shares her recipe for chips made from russet potatoes and fried until golden.
Yield: 4-6 servings
- Peanut oil for frying
- 2 russet potatoes, thinly sliced
Heat oil in a heavy pot such as a dutch oven to 350 degrees. Drop sliced potatoes in batches and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3 minutes. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Season with salt.
