Kansas City's Raphael Hotel, Presidential Bedroom
Before this room played host to the likes of Carol Burnett, Kanye West, Bill Cosby, Caroline Kennedy, Bernadette Peters, Rachel Ray, Giada DiLaurentis or Frank Zappa, someone called it home sweet home. When it opened in 1927 the Raphael Hotel was Villa Serena operating as apartment homes.
If not a Causeway in the middle of Santa Monica Bay, how about this Carlos Diniz-designed tower, accessed from land by a bridge? The architect is also known for his work on the World Trade Center.

Green Mountain Fine Art Gallery
A diverse gallery in a historic village building representing Vermont and other regional artists. Media presented include: paintings in oil, watercolor, pastel, collage, acrylic and mixed media. Styles range broadly from abstract contemporary work to highly representational landscape and still life paintings. Sculpture also presented, in the gallery and its adjacent sculpture garden.

An Earthy Kitchen
In Jennie's kitchen, warm wood cabinets lend an earthy feel that mirrors the outside landscape, clearly visible in the over-the-sink and transom windows. A framed poster reminds visitors of the household rules: "No Whining, No Complaining, No Frowning ..."

Haunts of the South: Kehoe House
Savannah's Kehoe House is reportedly haunted by the former owners. It was once owned by "Broadway Joe" Namath who wanted to turn it into a disco. We shudder at this fact alone.
