Play Ball at Coors Field
Named for the Coors Brewing Company, the 76-acre Coors Field is home to Denver's beloved Major League Baseball team, the Colorado Rockies. Original plans for the ballpark called for a seating capacity of 43,000, but after the Rockies attracted nearly 4.5 million fans in their first season, seating was increased to 50,000. The ballpark opened in 1995 and consistently draws baseball fans to Denver's LoDo neighborhood.
