Headless Horseman Hayride in Ulster, N.Y.
Just a short car ride from Sleepy Hollow – the inspiration for Washington Irving's famous story "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" – this small town in New York puts a terrifying twist on the traditional hayride. The one-mile journey winds through acres of gloomy woods, full of sinister scenes and creepy characters lurking behind the bushes. The hair-raising ride culminates with an appearance from the Headless Horseman himself. If you can handle another scare after finishing the hayride, this 45-acre attraction also features a corn maze and six haunted houses.
Handmade Massachusetts: Shibori Fabric Pillows by Cape Cod Shibori
Artist Rachel Switzer has always been interested in creating textiles - embroidery, rug hooking, weaving and especially, Shibori. Shibori is the ancient Japanese art of creating intricate patterns by folding, wrapping, and binding fabric, then submerging it in dye. She opened her Etsy shop after becoming an empty nester. She now happily creates small batch, hand dyed fabrics everyday.

Frank Lloyd Wright's Proposed Sports Club
Back in 1947, Frank Lloyd Wright proposed this mushroom-like structure to be built high in the Hollywood Hills, as a home for the Huntington Hartford Sports Club. This was among his more fanciful drawings, intriguing if not structurally practical.
