Christmas at Callanwolde

A circa-1920 Tudor-Gothic mansion set on 12 acres in the beautiful Druid Hills neighborhood of Atlanta, Callanwolde is pretty magical anytime of year. But during the holidays, it's transformed into a festive wonderland.

Grand Staircase

Atlanta's top interior and floral designers decorate the 27,000-square-foot mansion each year. The grand staircase is decorated with a festive fir tree and garland.

Landing

The landing is converted into a comfortable seating area with a lighted tree that can be seen from the front window at night when it twinkles.

Family Room

The family or billiards room is one of our favorite spots at Callanwolde, especially at Christmas.

Breakfast Room

Atlanta designer Jonathon Gonzalez decorated the historic mansion's breakfast room.

Dining Room

The grand dining room features three lighted and decorated trees. The home is available all year long for private functions.

Bedroom

Even the home's bedroom is decked out with holiday cheer.

Like most tourist attractions, there are plenty of unique gifts packed into the historic mansion's gift shop.

Santa Claus

Not only is the home dripping with sparkling lights and bursting with red and green decorations, but there are also several family-friendly events. Atlanta kids can have breakfast and/or tea with Santa at the historic mansion.

Teddy Bear Tea

Children enjoy an Old School tea with hot chocolate, treats as well as their favorite Teddy Bear.

Story Time

Children enjoy storytelling and other activities at the historic mansion.

Live Entertainment

Exterior at Night

The outside of the mansion is adorned with beautiful wreaths and garland. As the home is not visible from the road, what awaits visitors at the end of the driveway is simply breathtaking.
