Season 4, Episode 6

Cops and Flippers

Flipping friends, Jenn and Jen are going to have to know their rights when they go up against the law…cop cousins, Tom and Mike. The teams are locked, loaded, and have just one hour and $500 to search for the best pieces they can find at Elephant's Trunk Flea Market in New Milford Connecticut. Their projects (the Flip List) are: Mid-Century Modern, Rustic to Refined, and Inspired by Nature. Then in the workshop, cops Tom and Mike lay down the law and both teams get to work on their transformations. But which projects will warrant big sales at New York's GreenFlea? In the end, the team that makes the biggest profit will nab $5000. Hosted by Designer/Flea Market authority and Good Morning America Anchor Lara Spencer.

Repurposed Dental Cabinet

An old dental cabinet has plenty of drawers for whatever you might need to store. With a fresh coat of paint, new knobs and a cutting board feature, this piece is ready to be put to use in the kitchen.

Refurbished Dining Set With New Fabric and Paint

Before, this dining set was dark and dreary, but Lara noticed the great detail and craftsmanship in the chairs, so she revived them with some paint and new fabric.

Industrial Lights

The industrial rustic trend doesn't seem to be going away any time soon, which is perfectly alright with us. Lara's DIY wire basket pendant lights are easy to recreate and add definite industrial flare.

Country Cabinet

This rustic kitchen cabinet already had great bones, and all it needed was a butcher-block countertop, chicken wire cabinet doors and new paint. The chicken wire and white paint enhances the cabinet's country-chic character.

Mind the Chips

Don't be discouraged by a chair's chipped paint or torn fabric. Lara brought new life to this cane-back chair with crisp white paint and bold fabric, as seen on GACTV's Flea Market Flip.

Industrial Coffee Table

Don't be intimidated by an object's cold, factory-like appearance. Old wood and metal can make for a perfectly cozy addition to your living room or bedroom. Lara attached a light to this coffee table for added functionality.

Repurposed Jug Lamp

Just about anything you find at a flea market can instantly become a light fixture. Lara turned this jug into a lamp base and topped it with a shade she created out of old maps of Paris.

Shabby Ship to Chic Ship

A captain's desk from a ship becomes a shabby chic writing desk thanks to a paint job and new drawer knobs.

Cluster of Candles

We love Lara's ingenious idea to use candlesticks as lamps. When clustered together, these unique light fixtures provide tons of light and add interest to any room.

Tea Time to Party Time

This rolling cart used to hold tea and afternoon treats, but Lara repurposed it as a bar cart. Plenty of shelving accommodates glasses and liquor, and the wheels make it easy to move from room to room.
