Season 7, Episode 14

Bloggers To Flip For

Crafty couple, Victoria and Michael, take on DIY bloggers, Naomi and Sage in a battle of Youth vs. Wisdom. The search for Flea Market gems begins at Brimfield Antique Show and Flea Market in Brimfield, Massachusetts where the teams have $500 and just one hour to shop. They must find items from our Flip List: Mid-century project, Style Merge, and Vivid Design. Victoria and Michael choose a vivid color green to make an industrial cart into a eye-catching bar cart. They update two mid-century chairs with a new look, and merge a barn door and fence post into a chic coffee table. Naomi and Sage restore and repaint a pair of marble-topped night stands, update a vintage sewing table into a convertible desk, and use vinyl decals to turn a dated coffee table into a modern show-stopper.

Hanging Coat Rack

A coat stand takes up valuable floor space in small rooms; instead, utilize wall space with a wooden hanging rack. Lara added a mirror and industrial hooks, making this piece multi-functional.

Go Ahead and Haggle!

Get what you really want by always being charming, bundling your purchase, and buying at the end of the day.

Industrial Lights

The industrial rustic trend doesn't seem to be going away any time soon, which is perfectly alright with us. Lara's DIY wire basket pendant lights are easy to recreate and add definite industrial flare.

Refurbished Dining Set With New Fabric and Paint

Before, this dining set was dark and dreary, but Lara noticed the great detail and craftsmanship in the chairs, so she revived them with some paint and new fabric.

Mid-Century Modern Chairs, Classic, Minimalistic

Mid-century modern furniture like these chairs has a classic, minimalist look. Lara brought them up-to-date twith funky fabric and bright red paint.

Cluster of Candles

We love Lara's ingenious idea to use candlesticks as lamps. When clustered together, these unique light fixtures provide tons of light and add interest to any room.

Window to Wall Coat

Hang coats, purses or reusable bags on this arched window turned into a wall coat tree. Personalize it by painting your house number on the glass, like Lara did here.
