Before: Exterior

Clients of Justin and Anna's company, Flyte Camp, wanted to use this trailer as a lakeside retreat for their family.

After: Exterior

The result was a beautiful vintage restoration, complete with a collapsible awning and shiny new surface.

Before: Kitchen

The midcentury modern aesthetic is cool, but it is worn and not too functional.

After: Dinnette

For more dining and living space, the pullout table was replaced with an L-shaped bar.  The wall TV can be viewed from the kitchen or living area.

After: Kitchen

A powder-coated red cooktop and convection oven match the new retro-style fridge and bar stools.

After: Kitchen

Anna and Justin retained and restored most of the original cabinetry and added an original Panel Ray heater (left).

After: Kitchen

New flooring and stainless-steel countertops look sleek but still feel original to the camper.

After: Kitchen

Anna and Justin also added a brand-new sink to complete the kitchen renovation.

Before: Sitting Area

The banquette was completely torn out and needed to be replaced.

After: Sitting Area

The main living area is modern and open with a mid-century-style couch, bright red bar chairs and wooden blinds.

Before: Bedroom

The space between the bed and wall is under-utilized.  It's too tight to do anything with or even stand there.

After: Bedroom

A new queen-sized bed makes the most of the space. A TV and built-in DVD makes it a better place to relax.

Before: Bedroom

The old bed has to go, but the built-in nightstand will stay.

After: Bedroom

The modernized bedroom includes new bedding and wooden blinds.

Before: Bathroom

The bathroom desperately needed help.

After: Bathroom

The bathroom was updated with new flooring, birch cabinetry and a modern toilet.

Before: Bathroom

The dark wood cabinets and tiny ceiling light in the bathroom made the room feel cramped.

After: Bathroom

Marmoleum countertops, new cabinets and an updated ceiling light brightened the bathroom.

Before: Bathroom

The old shower was dark and dingy.

After: Bathroom

New aluminum walls were installed to give the bathroom a crisp, modern look and feel.

After: Bathroom

The old laminate countertop was replaced with durable Marmoleum.

Before: Exterior

The original exterior was dull and dingy.

After: Exterior

The exterior was polished and whitewall Coker tires and a vintage striped awning were added to bring back the classic 1950s look.
