Deep in the wilds of Texas, a deadly epidemic is sweeping its way through cattle country. Loose livestock are now a threat to the highways and byways of the Lone Star State, and authorities are turning to the only families who can handle the job: The Highway Cowboys.
In Guadalupe County, Texas, a dangerous longhorn finds its way into a subdivision. Meanwhile, Deputy Sheriff Junior Tucker and the boys track a herd of feral cattle threatening the construction of a new highway. And in Leon County, the Champion family helps a neighbor catch some rogue steers mixed in with their herd.
The Champion family answers a call about two ornery bulls blocking a highway overpass, but things go wrong when they escape onto private property. Meanwhile, Deputy Sheriff Junior Tucker enlists the help of two young cowboys to track down an escaped cow on a dangerous and windy road. And in Guadalupe County, cowboys Bubba and Gray attempt to move some longhorns, but things go south in a hurry when they break out onto the road and flee in different directions.
