We taste the Little Dooley in Starkville, Mississippi, we give the famous hickory smoked baby back ribs at Carson's in Chicago a try, we step into the landmark of Memphis… the Rendezvous. Then, we check out a wonderful BBQ restaurant that hires ex-cons and the homeless to help them create new lives.

We taste some deep South BBQ at Sweatman's in Holly Hill South Carolina, in Venice Beach, California, we see why BBQ lovers go for Baby Blues BBQ, in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, we get fed at the Shed, we fly to Hawaii to try out Helena's BBQ. Then we give the famous Salt Lick in Austin a taste.

A celebration of America's favorite food group: Barbecued. We watch as they go whole hog at the Skylight Inn in Ayden North Carolina, then it's off to New Orleans to try Squeal Pie at Squeal BBQ. We visit Nancy Lee's Pig Heaven in New York City to give Chinese BBQ a taste. Then it's off to Kansas City to visit the legendary Arthur Bryant's restaurant.

A celebration of America's favorite food group: Barbecued. First, we get our Blues on at Fat Matt's Rib Shack in Atlanta, then, we visit Harlem NY to see Dinosaur BBQ. We try the famous ribs at Gates BBQ in Kansas City and watch Tom Love as he cooks Texas BBQ in the Love Box. Finally, we take a stop at Pappy's Restaurant in ST. Louis to see the Big Ben.

First, we meet a bank vault sized BBQ pit called Big Red at the Brick Pit in Mobile, then we see why Dave is so famous at Famous Dave's BBQ in Minneapolis. We taste BBQ spaghetti at the legendary Interstate BBQ in Memphis, then, it's wine and BBQ at the Hitching Post in Buellton, California. Also, we get churched on real Texas BBQ at the New Zion Church BBQ in Huntsville, Texas.

Up in Smoke

A celebration of America's favorite food group: Barbecued. First, we get a taste of Texas style BBQ in Shreveport at the Country Tavern, the BBQ champion Mike Mills smokes BBQ to perfection at the 17th Street Bar & Grill. Then we watch one of the biggest BBQ competitions at the Memphis in May BBQ festival. We meet the accidental rib man at Ron's Ribs in Philadelphia, and see how Willie Nelson's BBQ sauce is boss at the Texas Roadhouse.
