Blueberry Half and Half

Country music group Little Big Town's Kimberly Schlapman shares her recipe for blueberry iced tea with lemon.

Cook time: 5 minutes | Yield: 4 servings


  • 4 blueberry tea bags
  • 6 cups water
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • Blueberries for garnish


Tie the tea bags together and attach them to the handle of a small pitcher. Pour 5 cups of hot water into pitcher and steep for 5 minutes. In a pot, combine sugar and remaining cup of water and heat until sugar is dissolved. Pour into pitcher and add lemon juice. Stir and let cool. Serve with ice and garnish with blueberries.
