Nan Kelley Bio

Born and raised in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, southern hospitality and the ability to shoot the breeze with anyone about anything were not just taught to Nan, they were practically encoded in her DNA.
Kelley took her first steps toward a television career when her love of the stage and talents on it earned her a Miss Mississippi crown and an opportunity for a small-town girl to see the world. It was a pit stop in Nashville, however, when she was chosen as host Gary Chapman’s sidekick on the series Prime Time Country in 1998.
Nan was a fixture on one of the most popular and longest running shows in all of entertainment,The Grand Ole Opry, and she also hosted Opry Live.
Currently, Nan hosts Top 20 Countdown, the popular fan-voted weekly series on Great American Country.
In 2014, Nan published her first cookbook, One Pan Nan, featuring easy-to-emulate recipes that allow fellow cooking enthusiasts more time to enjoy the meal and less time cleaning up after it. Recipes and excerpts from One Pan Nan are featured on GreatAmericanCountry.com.
