Sean Tracey Bio

Get to know Sean Tracey of Great American Country's Barn Hunters.

Sean Tracy is a barn-home builder, whiskey distiller and host of Great American Country’s Barn Hunters. Sparked by a passion for reusing historic materials, Sean opened Bucks County Timber Craft in 1999. The Pennsylvania-based company turns broken-down barns into modern dreams homes. Sean and his team rescue dilapidated barns just before they're set to be demolished and either refurbishes them on the spot, or dismantles them piece by piece, carefully transporting them to his shop in Bucks County and turning the old structures into ultimate, one-of-a-kind barn homes.

Sean knows a thing or two about wood, and using the expertise that he’s developed restoring barns over the years, he opened his own whiskey and rum craft distillery called Hewn Spirits.
