Jon Elliff is a Baptist minister who, after being inspired by a vacation in Hawaii, decided with his wife Becky to move his family to Oahu. With their five daughters, Jon and Becky are working with Hawaii Life broker Kelly Lee to find a house that gives them space for their family as well as a short commute to the beach and Jon's church. With big demands in their tight price range, Kelly shows the Elliffs several different Oahu neighborhoods to give them a sense for the value of their dollar.

A First-Time Homebuyer Searches for a Condo on Oahu

Helicopter pilot Julie Fung's high-flying job has taken her all over the US for work, but she's always wanted to fly the friendly skies above Hawaii. When a job opened up with a helicopter company on Oahu, she immediately applied and made the big move. Now she's finally ready to put down some roots on Oahu and buy her first condo with the help of Hawaii Life Agent Alison Wisnom. Julie's hopes are sky-high though and her lengthy wishlist does not match her tiny budget for a place in Honolulu, one of the most expensive cities in the world.

Air Force Intelligence Officer Clint Kinchen and his wife Kallie have been lucky enough to have moved from their hometown in Louisiana to Okinawa and now to Oahu on orders form the military. With the help of Hawaii Life agent Amie Bennis, the Kinchen's are hoping to find a home in a family friendly area with space for Clint's retired mom, who has moved in with them, to help raise their young family in paradise.

Texas native, Beth Cantor has an exciting job as a roving human resources director that requires her to travel all over the western hemisphere. After a recent three-month stint on Maui, Beth instantly knew it was the place where she wanted to call home. She fell in love with the culture, the aloha spirit, and the relaxed lifestyle that she needs after her business travels. With the help of Hawaii Life agent, Amanda Kittle, Beth is looking for a condo in Kihei, close to her friends, and hopes to find a killer view that she can enjoy during her rare days off.

Recently engaged Wayne Westcott and Sue Nuckols have lived most of their lives in the South and are proud of their Southern roots, but when they came to Maui for the first time, they knew it was where they wanted to start their new life together. With the help of broker JB Guard, they're searching for a house they can make their own and where they can have their grown children come to stay in their own piece of paradise.

Hawaii Life agent Kristi Cotton hopes to find the Rassmussen's a home with enough space for their family to stay and visit from California, but most of all, a killer view of that famous Kona coastline.

John and Annie Caudell married five years ago, but have yet to find a home of their own on the Big Island. John was born and raised on the island, while Annie moved to Hawaii from the Philippines nine year ago. The couple loves the variety of landscapes the Big Island has to offer-from lush rain forests to secluded beaches to an active volcano. And most importantly, the Big Island is where their families live, and they are eager to expand their own family. The Caudells have sought the help of Hawaii Life Broker Minoo Elison Timm to locate a single family home in the Kona area, one that hopefully offers a spectacular view.

Now, after years of married life in Georgia, the Givens have decided to relocate their family to Hawaii to reconnect with their heritage and pass it along to their three children. After connecting with Big Island agent Julie Edens, Matthew and Malia search for a home that fits the needs of their growing family as well as Matthew's desire to live near a golf course.

A Yogini and Her Chef Partner Search for a Peaceful Retreat in the Puna District on the Big Island

When Michelle, a yoga therapist, met Ricardo, a chef, in their hometown of Dallas, TX, she already knew she wanted to live on the Big Island. A few years into their relationship, Ricardo fell in love with the Big Island too, and the couple agreed to leave their lives in Dallas behind for a more tranquil life in the Puna District of Hawaii Island. With the help of Hawaii Life agent Evan Clarke, Michelle and Ricardo look for a home with space for Michelle's mainland clients to visit and experience their cozy yoga retreat and a yard to grow a large vegetable garden.

A Local Family Looks to Return to the Beach by Buying a Home Near Maui's North Shore

Kaleo and Sarah Amadeo are Maui natives that live on the island of Maui with their four young children. Kaleo is an avid surfer, paddleboarder, and all-around "water man" and is looking to relocate his family back to neighborhoods along Maui's scenic North Shore. After meeting with experienced Hawaii Life agent Georgie Hunter and explaining their need for space and beach access, the Amadeos look at a diverse variety of properties, from a fully finished move-in ready homes, to fixer-uppers that will offer them a better value for their dollar.

After Struggling to Find a Home Years Ago, a Hawaii Local Resumes His Search for the Ideal Property

Christian Slocum was raised on the Big Island of Hawaii, but moved to Maui nearly a decade ago to open two photography stores on the island. Christian was used to a lot of space on the Big Island, but he instantly fell in love with how accessible everything in on Maui-whether he wants to surf, dirt bike, or just watch a sunset - it's all just a short drive away. Three years ago Christian contacted his friend, Hawaii Life Agent Amanda Kittle, to help him find a home. Unfortunately he grew frustrated with the lack of inventory and he put his search on the back burner. Now, Christian is ready to finally purchase the perfect home that fits his wish list - one with a great kitchen, a yard for entertaining, and a separate space to set up his own photography studio.
