Deep in the wilds of Texas, a deadly epidemic is sweeping its way through cattle country. Loose livestock are now a threat to the highways and byways of the Lone Star State, and authorities are turning to the only families who can handle the job: The Highway Cowboys.
The Jeffcoats continue their search along the highways of Liberty County, Texas for Brokejaw, an angry but valuable rodeo bull notorious for escaping. Meanwhile, the Champions take a break in their rodeo training when notified of two Watusi cows that have escaped and are trotting along roads with heavy traffic.
Cowboys Bubba and Gray, along with ex-rodeo clown Jerry Don and his best hands, join the Highway Cowboys as they keep the roads of Texas safe from escaped livestock. Bubba and Gray answer the call to prevent a bull and some cows from making it onto busy I-95. Jerry Don and his crew track down three roping steers that escaped from a turned over trailer on a busy stretch of highway. And the Jeffcoat brothers chase down a wild pony that makes its way to a local ball field.
The Champion family answers a call about two ornery bulls blocking a highway overpass, but things go wrong when they escape onto private property. Meanwhile, Deputy Sheriff Junior Tucker enlists the help of two young cowboys to track down an escaped cow on a dangerous and windy road. And in Guadalupe County, cowboys Bubba and Gray attempt to move some longhorns, but things go south in a hurry when they break out onto the road and flee in different directions.
In Leon County, Texas, the Champion family chases a wild stud horse that escapes the county holding pen, and almost shuts down the highway in his pursuit of nearby mares. Meanwhile, cowboys Shaun and BJ must remove six stray donkeys from a local woman's property before they can breed with her prized mares. And in Bastrop County, Deputy Sheriff Junior Tucker and young cowboys Reid and Ty must track down a momma Brahma and her calf, along with a feisty longhorn, before they make it back to the highway.
