Season 4, Episode 10

Hidden Gem in New York's Hudson Valley

Nick and James live in Brooklyn, New York and have been together for five years. Since moving from San Francisco to the East Coast they've been longing for a rustic escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. They searched the Jersey Shore, Cape Cod and even the Hamptons before stumbling upon upstate New York's Copake Lake in the Hudson Valley. With a surprising balance of scenic natural beauty and convenient access to local shops, arts and fine dining, Nick and James realized this would be the perfect setting for their new lakeside retreat. Although they've been saving for a few years, they're still not sure if they'll be able to find a vacation home within their budget of $299,000. So they've hired local real estate agent, Lindsay LeBrecht, to aid in their search.
